OPPO Find N5 is Simply a Workstation: An Apple Mac in Your Pocket

OPPO has officially announced that its upcoming Find N5 foldable phone will come pre-installed with the Deepseek-R1 artificial intelligence model, providing users with out-of-the-box AI-powered features. Now, in a new revelation, Chen Xi, OPPO’s ColorOS Design Director, has introduced another groundbreaking feature—”O+ Connectivity.”

Chen Xi described O+ Connectivity as a feature designed to break the limitations of equipment and space, enabling seamless collaboration across devices regardless of distance. This aligns with ColorOS’s core philosophy of “burden-free” efficiency, ensuring users can stay productive without physical constraints.

The demonstration images suggest that O+ Connectivity will allow the OPPO Find N5 to wirelessly stream and remotely control personal computers while adapting to split-screen operation. The upper half of the foldable display will function as the computer screen, while the lower half will act as a keyboard, effectively transforming the device into a portable workstation.

A notable aspect of the demo is the computer interface design, which closely resembles Apple’s macOS. Chen Xi further hinted at its Mac compatibility by revealing that he was already using it to edit Keynote presentations. If confirmed, this would mark a significant step in cross-platform connectivity, allowing OPPO’s ecosystem to integrate seamlessly with Apple’s widely used devices. With Deepseek-R1 AI and O+ Connectivity, the OPPO Find N5 is shaping up to be a game-changer in the foldable smartphone market.
